The Indian government has taken the construction of Lord Ram Mandir prestigiously in the temple city of Ayodhya. After a long battle, the issue got resolved and the construction started last year. On the eve of Diwali, more than 22.23 lakhs of diyas were lit on the bank off Saryu river across the 51 ghats in the city and this created a Guinness World Record. The pictures were all over social media and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted the clicks calling them Amazing and Unforgettable.

He posted the clicks on his Twitter page saying that the nation is illuminated with millions of diyas on the eve of Diwali. He also said that Lord Shri Ram will do well for the country and he becomes an inspiration for all the families across the nation. He said that the energy emanating from this new zeal and enthusiasm is amazing across the country. Lakhs of earthern lamps were lit in Ayodhya by the people of the city. In 2017, 51,000 diyas were lit in Ayodhya for Diwali and in 2019, it reached 4.10 lakhs. In 2020, more than 6 lakh diyas were lit and they reached 9 lakhs in 2021.
The number reached 17 lakhs in the year 2022 and now it is a record of 22.23 lakhs this year. The construction of Ram Mandir reached final stages and the inauguration will take place on January 22nd, 2024 by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi celebrated Diwali along with the Indian Soldiers in Lepcha of Himachal Pradesh. "The courage of our security forces is unwavering.
