Man arrested in charge of Bank Robbery

A man was accused of robbing a Baltimore County bank on Friday afternoon. He was arrested after one hour searching in Baltimore City. Police said that the suspect came armed, robbed the bank and went away with cash.

County police officers were joined by city police when the investigation was going, on 3500 block of Garrison Avenue in Baltimore City. The suspect was holed up in his house . Baltimore County police, Baltimore City police and the FBI took over the block, hoping to bring the man out without any incident, but it turned into an hour-long barricade situation.

At one point, the suspect, who was still armed, opened the front door and was seen talking on a phone.  Later, police placed a cellphone right outside the door and instructed the man to pick it up so they could talk to him. The man picked it up but then dropped it back onto the porch.

According to Police there were other people in the house who came outside safely. Officers went next door and brought three people, including a young girl, to safety. The standoff continued for next three hours until the man was arrest around 9 p.m.
