After the first day of the second India versus England Test series, former England Skipper, Michael Vaughan took to Twitter to state that the English might be done. He also predicted India’s victory by the end of the Chepauk Test series.

Although India has not had any luck during the first match, they came in strong for the second test match.

During the second test, India was defeated by England with a 227- run defeat. Rohit Sharma was the head, leading the team to. Rohit Sharma was the opener batsmen who put up a hitman show throughout his play. Ajinkya Rahane was on the other end, staying strong throughout his play as well. Their mammoth partnership was what led India to a 248/4 after 71 overs. This play led Michael Vaughan to concede defeat in the second Test already. The former England skipper also praised the Indian batsmen for being able to hit boundaries from the English team’s off spinners, whenever they wanted to.

When it came to the game, India won the toss and chose to bat. Axar Patel made his first Test Debut at the Chepauk on Saturday. Due to his injury, he was unavailable for the previous test matches. Indian team skipper Virat Kohli lead the team to victory on its first day, leading to a good start for the Indian team.

England was absolutely delighted with dismissing Virat Kohli for a duck, bowled by the England maestro bowler, Moeen Ali. However, Rahane and Rohit’s partnership was one to really watch. Together, they made up a 100-run score and is still counting. Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 161 runs while Rahane is continuing to bat as the pitch is becoming more spin-friendly.

The match will continue till February 9th at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
