Tamil director KV Anand is no more

Top director and veteran cinematographer KV Anand breathed his last this morning after he suffered a massive heart attack at 3 AM in a private hospital in Chennai. KV Anand had coronavirus complications and he got admitted to a Chennai based hospital recently. He is being treated from the past two weeks and he breathed his last this morning. All the Tamil, Telugu celebrities are left in shock and they offered their deep condolences on his demise. He worked with Shankar for several super hit films as the cinematographer. Top actor Suriya rushed to the hospital and he personally took care of all the formalities of KV Anand.

Shankar took his twitter handle to post "Absolutely shocked. My heart feels so heavy... painful.Just can’t digest..I lost a very dear friend K.V a wonderful cinematographer, and a brilliant director.This loss can never be compensated. I will miss you my dear friend.R.I.P. My deepest condolences to his family and friends" about KV Anand. He is survived by his mother, his wife and two daughters. With KV Anand breathing last due to coronavirus complications, his mortal remains aren't allowed to his Chennai residence. The last rites of this 54-year-old director are held at Besant Nagar crematorium and his family members are allowed for few minutes.

KV Anand started his career as a cinematographer in 1994 and worked for several super hit movies. He turned director in 2005 with Kana Kandaen. He went on to direct several super hit movies like Ayan, Ko, Maattrraan, Anegan, Kavan and Kaappaan. Rest in peace KV Anand.
